CONGRESS ON GASTROINTESTINAL FUNCTION 15TH-17TH APRIL 2013

The CGIF maintains a tradition established in 1951 to provide academic and industry scientists a forum to present the latest advances in our understanding of gastrointestinal microbiology, (immuno)physiology and nutritional sciences.
The topics presented at the Congress include studies with livestock and poultry species for food production and biomedical research, as well as clinical and nutritional studies relevant to improving human health and well being. Research that addresses the environmental and public health impacts from gastrointestinal microbiology (e.g. the ecology of antibiotic resistance, food safety, and waste management) is also welcome.
The 2013 Congress will be held at the Gleacher Center, located close to Chicago's "Magnificent Mile", and we're proud to recruit an excellent group of plenary speakers (please visit the "invited speaker" page). The abstract submissions will be used by the Congress' scientific committee to select oral presentations for the 4 sessions; with dedicated space for poster presentation throughout the Congress and a formal poster session also included in the schedule. Similar to the 2011 Congress, we are in negotiations for the abstracts and plenary presentations to be published in a prominent scientific journal.

GREENHOUSE GASES & ANIMAL AGRICULTURE 23RD-27TH JUNE 2013

On behalf of the Local Organising Committee of GGAA2013, we wish to invite and welcome you to GGAA 2013 hosted at University College Dublin from June 23rd to June 27th 2013. The conference is being organised by Teagasc (the Irish Agriculture and Food Development Authority) and University College Dublin. Both our organisations have been very involved in researching animal greenhouse gas issues in Ireland. Following the very successful conference in Banff in 2010, we aim to build on this success and continue to position the GGAA at the world's premier event for scientists to meet and discuss issues concerning animal greenhouse gas. We are really looking forward to hosting this major conference and making it a memorable experience for delegates.
This scientific meeting will attract speakers and delegates from throughout the globe and builds on previous successful meetings in the series. The meeting will focus on advancements in the areas of animal derived GHG mitigation since the last meeting in Banff, 2010. Efforts are underway to maximise participation by delegates from developing countries.
